ABOUT ME
My name is Cody Cianfrance. I am a young photographer who loves to go out into the wilderness and be with wildlife. I like to share my wildlife experiences with other people through photography. I love the thrill of seeing the animal in the viewfinder and feeling the great relief and sensation of getting the perfect shot.
The hunt
When I was 6, I received my first camera. For years, I shot tens of thousands of pictures but I would only shoot pictures of birds. When I turned 15, I realized that I could expand the subjects that I took photos of. It proved to be something new and enjoyable. Photographing mammals requires a different strategy than birds because you have to hunt in order to find them. For me there is nothing better than being out in nature, with just your thoughts and silence, hunting for an animal. When you go out, chances are you will not find anything. However, when that special moment occurs, and you spot your subject, it is that much more satisfying and thrilling.
